BEACH BBQ Y’ALL
Here at Twice, we try to avoid some of the depressing cliches of office life. Team building exercises like the Name Game, the Trust Fall, and rope courses are all no-nos. Tacky motivational posters? Absolutely not.
We do, however, love to have fun and enjoy our downtime in style. Most days we settle for racing shipping carts around the warehouse, or just relaxing in the break room with a few beers, but we try to mix things up on occasion. A few weeks ago we were starting to feel a little stir crazy, so we decided a camping off-site was called for.
The location we chose was Point Reyes National Seashore, which is just a short drive from SF, but feels delightfully remote. After carrying our stuff to the gorgeous campsite, we pitched our tents and fired up the grill for some burgers, dogs, and veggies. (If you haven’t tried it, you need to eat grilled asparagus with lemon, olive oil, and pepper as soon as you can. Get on that.) When it got dark, we headed down to the beach for a campfire and s’mores. All in all, a perfect summer off-site.
